Some off site subject mater near the museum and within walking distance downtown will be used for class projects and inspiration including visiting a professional photography studio downtown!

Individual projects will include functional pottery and decorative work. See the artwork for yourself and then create a unique four panel Pop Art inspired artwork using your own photo! About a week before the workshop, students will be sent an email asking for a photo that you would like to use of yourself, friend, family member, or even your pet! Then our talented teaching artist will make photo copy prints on a variety of colored paper and provide all the materials you need to make a masterpiece ready to frame!

Professional glass artist, Carol Comer, will walk you step-by-step through the process of glass fusing. Get creative as you want and design a unique piece only limited by your imagination. After you create your design, pieces will be fired in our kiln so the glass can fuse together into a finished piece of art. Then your instructor will construct your nightlight ready to plug in and enjoy! All skill levels welcome.
