Offering this 6-week course in-person! Inspired by the still lifes in the exhibit "Right Place, Right Time: Paintings by Robert Coleman Jackson." Delve into how artists create meaning through rendering objects and discover the historical significance of why the still life has been the most popular subject matter of all time! Explore deeper elements of composition, master copies, developing an image over time, sighting/measurement, drawing from life, and more. Time will be allotted to work during class, offering one on one attention with instructor help and feedback. Kit Palencar will tailor instruction to your individual needs and interests. Some drawing experience required, intermediate to advanced drawing skills preferred.
