Now offering this 12 week class in our ceramics studios! Students with a firm foundation in basic technical skills will enjoy this class. Form, surface design, glazing, and firing will be explored in greater depth during this class. Advanced students with five sessions or the equivalent, (or working at a level determined to be advanced by the instructor) will be required to do their own firing in cooperation with the Canton Ceramic Artists Guild to deepen their understanding of the process.

Now offering this NEW one-time workshop in-person! Adorn your walls with a clay flower wall pocket vase created by your own hands! This is a fun and easy project that anyone can do. These water tight pockets are wonderful for flower cuttings, dried flowers, herbs, incense sticks, or just left plain. All skill levels welcome. (Students will need to make arrangements to pick up fired pieces two-four weeks after class.)

Now offering this 6 week course in-person! Enjoy the creative processes of drawing the human figure in this exciting class mixing both classic and modern figure drawing. Students will learn to use various life drawing techniques utilizing a variety of references including a live model, photo images, and projected videos of the human figure (some references will include nude models). Inspired by the exhibit, "Ohio Small Towns: A Juried Exhibit of Paintings by Members of The Ohio Plein Air Society." Learn to capture dancing light and atmosphere at a beautiful pond landscape location with watercolor paint. Enjoy a demonstration and talk on Friday evening when the light is just right, then put those principles into practice with guidance from Lynda the following morning.
