Bring your little gal or ghoul to the Canton Museum of Art for the 5th Annual Art Harvest Trick-or-Treat First Friday event! What better way to kick-off the change of seasons? Kids should arrive in their favorite Halloween costume and Trick-Or-Treat in the Museum for candies and other goodies. Also, enjoy Halloween themed make-and-take art projects, scavenger hunt, art demonstrations and more!

Come explore the endless creativity of clay in this fun and challenging class. Visit the galleries to see famous ceramic pieces first hand, tour the ceramics lab and learn the process that clay goes through from beginning to end, and create functional, decorative, and sculptural pieces to cherish always! (Families will need to make arrangements to pick up fired pieces two weeks after workshop.)
Fold forming is a simple technique with a complex and alluring look. Equipped with a hammer, a little anvil and fire, you can easily make your own fashionable jewelry or sculpture. All skill levels welcome.

Beginning students will be taught the basics of hand-building and wheel-work while intermediate students will refine their skills. Individual projects will include functional pottery and decorative work. Glazing techniques will be taught, finished ware will be discussed, and demonstrations will be given.
