Eternal Journal Workshop

In this book making class, students will use book board, book cloth and decorative papers to construct a beautiful hard cover journal with pages that you add and remove. Students will leave class with a finished journal measuring 9" tall x 6" wide x 1.75" thick, with basic instructions to repeat the project at home!

Have fun and relieve stress while your learn a new way to create art in this intro to needle felting class creating decorative felt pumpkins for the fall. Use orange, white, black or use your imagination! Each person should be able to complete 3 pumpkins in a variety of sizes.

Get in the spirit, whether for a team sports event, Halloween or just for fun festivities! This is an introduction to wet felting technique. Use friction, water, and soap to shrink down wool fibers into long ropes to create dreadlocks into a fabulous head piece. Some hand sewing required. Bring a towel and plastic bag.

*Open to ages 12 and up with an adult

Master the buttons and dials on your camera and shoot in modes other than Auto. This course introduces participants to the creative and technical possibilities of digital photography. Topics include camera operation, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, and composition. Both new and experienced photographers are welcome.

*Please bring a digital camera that has a manual mode, DSLR, mirrorless, some point-and-shoots and a card reader
