Looking for a fun activity to do together with your little artist? Kids and adults explore the museum's collection or art history and create fun art projects together. A different themed project each class means there's always something new to discover with any family member that wants to join in one of the class sessions. Course is designed for one adult and one child per class session in this six week class.

Visit the galleries to see famous ceramic pieces first hand, tour the ceramics lab and learn the process that clay goes through from beginning to end, and create functional, decorative, and sculptural pieces to cherish always! (Families will need to make arrangements to pick up fired pieces two weeks after workshop.)

Students will learn about the expressive qualities of modern art while creating art projects that focus on learning a variety of modern art techniques utilizing math, science, art and a little bit of magic!
