Find your inner calm through the tip of the brush as you learn how to shape, blend, mix and create value with one of the most forgiving mediums on canvas. The quick-drying, water soluble nature of acrylic paint makes it easy to re-work mistakes and create a personal style. This painting series explores color theory, mood creation, and expressionism while painting to different genres of music. Some prior drawing experience is required. Ages 18+. Registration includes acrylic paint sets, gesso, raw canvas, and stretcher bars.
Offering this 10 week class in our ceramics studios! Beginning students will be taught the basics of hand-building and wheel-work while intermediate students will refine their skills. Individual projects will include functional pottery and decorative work. Discover the ceramic process from start to finish, learn glazing techniques, watch demonstrations and, receive one-on-one attention with instructor help and feedback. Taken the class before?
