Using natural wool fibers, a felting needle, and your imagination, you'll learn how to create a whimsical and unique gnome that's all your own. Our expert instructor will guide you through each step of the process, from basic techniques to more advanced tips and tricks. You'll also have the opportunity to experiment with different colors of wool, giving your gnome a truly personalized look. All skill levels welcome.

Offering this NEW one-time workshop at CMA! Discover the fun possibilities of clay and how to create your own beautiful and functional vase to display on your tabletop. With guidance from our experienced instructor, Laura Kolinski-Schultz, you will be taught using stoneware clay and basic hand-building techniques while adding your own creative flair. Raku Firing

Offering this 2-day workshop in person! Discover the unique art of Raku firing in this hands-on workshop! Unlike traditional kiln firing, Raku is a distinctive technique performed outdoors using a gas kiln including pulling red hot ceramic ware out of a kiln and placing the ware into a container with combustible materials. During this two-step workshop, students will discuss the process and create their clay pieces on day one and then fire on day two. Students may make and fire up to 3 pieces. Some clay experience is required.
