Alpha Romeo Tango (A.R.T.) Program 12-Week Guitar Class

Fall Schedule: Thursdays 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 11/27 and 12/4

Class Time:  3:00pm-4:00pm

Class Description: This twelve-week, classroom-style course is designed for Veterans and First Responders to experience various styles of acoustic guitar music. Led by musician Denny Vlahos, the class covers the basics of blues, jazz, folk, and/or Spanish guitar. Fun with Impasto Oil Painting | Tuesdays 5:30-7:30 pm | Tuesdays November 11, 18, 25, and December 2 

This class uses environment friendly, water-based oils and thickening gels to create atmospheric swirls, rhythmic waves, and heavily textured landscapes and surreal environments. Students new to oil painting will learn fundamental techniques including color mixing, brushwork, and layering to build depth and dimension in their artwork. All materials provided, all skill levels are welcome (no prior oil painting experience required). Bring an apron or paint shirt!
