Let’s explore the versatility of watercolor! Beginners will be guided though lessons that teach basic techniques. More experienced students will have the opportunity to work independently with feedback from the instructor.
Canton Museum of Art is beyond grateful to have received a thoughtful gift from artist Judith Brandon of her piece Golden Rule, which was recently displayed in our lobby. We greatly admired the piece when it was here for our Three Voices exhibit and know that it will contribute significantly to our Permanent Collection.
Expressive Art Therapy Program Connects with New Audiences.
In response to the growing need for expressive art therapy services in Stark County, Canton Museum of Art (CMA) began the Art for Health and Healing Program in January 2017. This unique hands-on program was conceived and developed by the CMA staff and local art therapy consultant, Gail Wetherell-Sack.

Come explore the endless creativity of clay in this fun and challenging class. Students will explore air-dry clay and even work with a pottery wheel, learning the basic techniques to create functional, decorative, and sculptural pieces.
