This studio art camp is for high school students wanting to continue to grow as an artist and add to an exisiting portfolio of work. Experiment and learn to see in new and different ways through a variety of media. Camp is heavily geared toward specific student interests and includes extensive one-on-one instruction.
Build exciting 3-D sculptures using mixed media, modeling clay and more! Students view masterpieces from the Museum collection and then create one-of-a-kind works that will impress and inspire. Taken 3D media before? No problem, all projects and activities are brand new for 2018!

Go on a wild animal art safari through visits to the Museum exhibit African Menagerie: The Inquisition. Students will learn about African animal species and animal conservation while creating art projects that focus on learning a variety of art techniques including drawing, printmaking and sculpture.
