The Canton Museum of Art presents Spotlight: A Juried Exhibition of Artists from CMA Affiliate Groups. This exhibition highlights members of the two affiliate groups of CMA: The Canton Ceramic Artists Guild and Canton Artist League.
The Canton Ceramic Artists Guild was founded in 1974 by a group of dedicated ceramic artists committed to the advancement of the Museum's ceramics program. The Guild meets once a month, to organize their volunteer hours, plan upcoming sales, and share ideas and techniques.
This discounted class option is designed for students who have taken one or more Classic Oil Painting classes with instructor, Lin Luciano Fiore. Students will receive 4 new color tubes of paint and a canvas. Utilize new and more advanced techniques to take your Impressionistic painting skills to a whole new level! Lin works with each student to see them grow, sign up for multiple classes!
*Prerequisite (One or more Classic Oil Painting classes taught by Lin Luciano Fiore) *Please bring your previous class materials to the first day of class.
Offering this 6 week course in person with International instructor, Lin Luciano Fiore. Learn to paint stunning landscapes using water-soluble oils, a medium that offers all the benefits of regular oil paint without the unpleasant odors of turpentine. Master the techniques of the layering process to create light and airy, loosely painted, gorgeous landscapes with Classic Impressionistic simplicity. Gain a deep understanding of what makes a beautiful painting by following the process from start to finish, including the blocking-in and the addition of beautiful light.
