Canton Fine Arts

Discover Your Place in Canton Fine Arts Associates ...

Canton Fine Arts is an affiliate organization of the Canton Museum of Art.  The mission of this dedicated group is to raise funds for the Museum through volunteer efforts.  Since 1972, Canton Fine Arts has presented the Christkindl Markt, an annual fundraiser for Museum.

Founded in 1952, Canton Fine Arts continues to offer friendship, entertainment, learning experiences, and volunteer opportunities to its members.  Monthly luncheon meetings with excellent art-related programs are held from September to May, excluding November.  The luncheons are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:45 a.m. in the Wilkof Courtyard of the Canton Museum of Art.  Guests are most welcome at these luncheon meetings.

Discover the Canton Museum of Art — Our Community's Visual Arts Resource ...

The Canton Museum of Art (CMA) is a home for art in Canton and Stark County, visited by over 40,000 people each year.  The Museum’s Permanent Collection of over 1,200 works, valued at nearly $25 million, includes some of the finest American watercolors and ceramics of the 19th and 20th Century.  The Museum presents a wide range of activities including permanent, temporary and traveling exhibitions, studio art classes for adults and children, a Docent program to provide guided tours and lectures, and numerous special events.

The Canton Museum of Art receives no regular income from taxes or other government sources and is dependent upon the generosity of our community, and events like Christkindl Markt, for the bulk of its income.
