What to Know Before You Visit CMA

Welcome! Here's What You Need to Know When Visiting CMA . . .

The Canton Museum of Art is pleased to welcome visitors inside our galleries, and we look forward to helping you enjoy our exhibits. Please note, certain works of art from our Collection may not be on view at times, and certain galleries may be temporarily closed due to maintenance or exhibit service. Hours & Admission

 

• CMA is open normal business hours, depending on exhibitions: Please check here for Current Hours.
 

• You may purchase tickets at the Patron Services Desk, or in advance of your visit at Reserve Tickets.

 

• There is no need to print your ticket. Save your confirmation email and check in at the Patron Services Desk with your name.

 

• CMA has one main entrance for the public, located off Market Avenue North, at the Cultural Center for the Arts. Click here for Accessibility Information, including parking. There is a drop off zone with a ramp in front of the Museum. Parking is free. Click for a Map to the Museum for reference.

 

Members

• Members receive free admission to all exhibitions, a 20% discount on classes, and a 10% discount in The Museum Shop.

 

• Members are vital to CMA's programming. Renew or purchase a new membership online here! Thank you!

 

Guidelines for Your Visit . . .

CMA wants everyone to be fully informed on what to expect to provide a comfortable experience for all.

  • Please check-in at the Patron Services Desk upon entry. Our staff will assist you with any questions about your visit.
     
  • Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the Museum.
     
  • Surfaces throughout the Museum are cleaned during open hours.
     
  • CMA is KultureCity® Sensory Inclusive, with designated quiet areas and sensory bags. Inquire at the Patron Services Desk.
     
  • Bench seating is available in certain galleries. Stools for seating are available upon request at the Patron Services Desk.
     
  • Large bags are prohibited, as well as outside food and beverage. Small bags and childcare items are allowed.
     
  • The Museum Magazine is available on the website at Explore the Museum. The print version is available in the Lobby.

About the Art . . .

  • For exhibitions with security stanchions, please respect your distance from the art — and remember, no touching!
     
  • Certain works of art from the CMA Collection may not be on view at times due to the changing themes of our Collection exhibitions. In addition, some galleries may be closed for renovation or reinstallation. We regret any inconvenience to visitors.
