Learn about and see first hand how artists play magical tricks on our perception creating illusions that deceive the eye. Through creativity, students will create their own 2D illusion art utilizing a variety of drawing and painting materials. Some of the projects include drawing objects that look like they are popping off the page, optical art that looks like it moves, magic realism that combines the ordinary with the extraordinary, and more!

Visit the galleries to see famous ceramic pieces first hand, tour the ceramics lab and learn the process that clay goes through from beginning to end.
