Now offering this NEW 6 week course in-person! Inspired by the exhibit "Abandoned America: Everything Must Pass." Students will discover how artist, Matthew Christopher, captures the mesmerizing beauty and lost history of the various derelict buildings. His artwork advocates for rehabilitation and reuse by emphasizing the cultural importance of preservation. Through creativity, students will repurpose and upcycle "abandoned" materials to create beautiful 2D and 3D artworks utilizing unique and sometimes unconventional items to create something new!
