Interact online with instructor Alex Draven and fellow students watching virtual online lessons, demonstrations, discussions and more! Students will be given time to practice, and create with help and live feedback. Discover the basics of wire and stone wrapping to begin making your own jewelry. Experience is not needed as artist Alex Draven walks you through the introductory steps in creating a custom piece of your own design!

Individual projects will include functional pottery and decorative work. Glazing techniques will be taught, finished ware will be discussed, and demonstrations will be given.

Now offering this 12 week course in our ceramics studios! Students with a firm foundation in basic technical skills will enjoy this class. Form, surface design, glazing, and firing will be explored in greater depth during this class. Advanced students with five sessions or the equivalent, (or working at a level determined to be advanced by the instructor) will be required to do their own firing in cooperation with the Canton Ceramic Artists Guild to deepen their understanding of the process.
