Offering this 2-day workshop in person! Discover the unique art of Raku firing in this hands-on workshop! Unlike traditional kiln firing, Raku is a distinctive technique performed outdoors using a gas kiln including pulling red hot ceramic ware out of a kiln and placing the ware into a container with combustible materials. During this two-step workshop, students will discuss the process and create their clay pieces on day one and then fire on day two. Students may make and fire up to 3 pieces.
