Students learn beginner‑friendly fiber‑art knots to weave a sturdy hand grip 

near the top of a walking stick. Students will paint their stick with colors and designs that reflect their personality. This nature-inspired project has been used by explorers and storytellers in the natural world throughout history. The journey stick blends art, craftsmanship, and outdoor inspiration, giving each student a personalized and functional work of art for future adventures.
