Now offering this 6 week course in-person with our NEW instructor, Mallory McCrea! Learn to see like a photographer and go from taking snapshots to purposeful, well-composed images that reflect your personal vision. Master the buttons and dials on your camera and shoot in modes other than Auto. This course introduces participants to the creative and technical possibilities of digital photography. Topics include camera operation, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, and composition. New and experienced photographers are welcome.

Glass Fusing

Now offering this NEW 6 week course in-person! Throughout this class, you will learn about the heating cycle of glass, how to use a kiln, plus the techniques to design unique pieces of your own design. You can make jewelry, coasters, and bowls using slumping techniques to name a few projects. Time will be allotted to work during class, offering one on one attention with instructor help and feedback. All experience levels welcome.

Jennifer you are all set with Amy with our Art for Health and Healing Coordinator:

It will be $15 per person for the two hour workshop from 1:00-3:00pm due at the front desk when you get here.

Classroom space is available for free for tour groups in room 101 before your visit. Sometimes the courtyard is open and setup which your more than welcome to use if there is nothing else booked but to guarantee a space in the courtyard you would need to setup and pay for a rental with our rental coordinator Emily Callan emily@cantonart.org.
