Elevate & Create: Early Learning Through Family Art + Connection

Join the Early Childhood Resource Center for the first in a series of FREE ART CLASSES led by the Canton Museum of Art! Designed specifically for families with children 3 and under (siblings welcome!), this collaborative initiative will meet on the first Thursday of each month to provide early learning art experiences that help develop critical skills.

Over the course of the year, families will receive a toolbox of art supplies and create a shared memory book to celebrate their program experiences. Activities will include songs, storytime, gallery experiences, play, and more, with support and resources available to caregivers. Space is limited to 25 families.

Join us for a fun, welcoming family experience in our galleries! Explore the "Reclaimed: The Art of Recology" exhibit (April 28 – July 26, 2026) to see how artists transform everyday objects into new creations, teaching us to look at ordinary things in new ways. Through guided storytelling, looking games, and social-emotional play, this program helps your children build early visual literacy and foster healthy social-emotional development and family connection.
