Advanced ceramics students are now eligible for independent study at CMA! This option is available for a limited number of students who have taken at least three ceramics classes at CMA. Your registration fee provides access to the studio during all open studio hours, a locker for storage, access to studio tools and equipment, and a professional teaching artist mentor available to get you set up and answer any questions via email. Studio hours run from 9/29/24 - 12/15/24 (Minus adjusted hours due to museum closures) which coincides with our ceramics class schedule.
Offering this NEW one-time workshop at CMA! Choose to create a holiday candleholder to light up your night or make an ornament to decorate your tree. Many design choices are available. Learn to design and assemble a fused glass piece with transparent glass. Our experienced instructor, Amy Pepperney, will guide you through the fundamentals of glass fusing and various forming techniques to help you create a truly unique piece. No glass cutting is required. All skill levels are welcome. Finished work will be fired and ready for pick up in 2 weeks. Students will be emailed when ready.
