Alpha Romeo Tango (A.R.T.) Program

FREE Art Classes for veterans, active duty service members, and members of the National Guard/Reserve.

This 10-week series of art classes focuses on drawing and handbuilding clay, held at both the Military & First Responders Center and at the Canton Museum of Art. Sign up for a 4-week drawing series, a 6-week ceramics series - or both! Two sessions will be offered - Fall and Spring. Registration is FREE, but required for capacity purposes.

Led by artist, teacher, and military spouse, Susan Mentrak.

Session 1 (Fall 2024): 8/14 - 10/23
Community Exhibit Celebration: 12/6

Fall Drawing classes will be held on 8/14, 8/21, 8/28, and 9/4  from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the Military & First Responders Center in Louisville.

Fall Clay classes will be held on 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, and 10/23 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Canton Museum of Art in Classroom 103. There will be NO CLASSES on September 11th, 2024.

All Fall classes will culminate in a Community Exhibit Celebration at the Canton Museum of Art on Friday, December 6th, 2024. Enjoy light refreshments and artwork from participants, as well as free access to the Museum's exhibits.

Spring Drawing classes will be held on 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, and 1/29  from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the Military & First Responders Center in Louisville.

Spring Clay classes will be held on 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/5, and 3/12 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Canton Museum of Art in Classroom 103.

All Spring classes will culminate in a Community Exhibit Celebration at the Canton Museum of Art on Friday, April 4th, 2025. Enjoy light refreshments and artwork from participants, as well as free access to the Museum's exhibits.

CLAY CLASSES WILL BE HELP AT THE CANTON MUSEUM OF ART LOCATED AT 1001 MARKET AVENUE NORTH IN CANTON, OHIO.
