GeoArt Lesson Plans

GeoArt has been a long-running program at the Canton Museum of Art. Developed by Director M. J. Albacete, GeoArt provides teachers and students with information to explore the connections between math and art.

Teachers can now download the complete GeoArt Workbook instructional manual, as well as the Companion Teacher Guide Book, which is packed with ready-to-use, standards-aligned lesson plans developed by Stark County teachers.

Hardcopies of both the Workbook and Guide Book are available through the Canton Museum of Art for a small fee. Similarly, the cardboard geometric shapes are available in a small-scale and large-scale size. If interested in these materials contact lauren@cantonart.org.
