Canton Artists League: Spring Show 2009

May 15 - June 20, 2009

A total of 89 pieces by 45 members of the Canton Artists League are on exhibit through June 20. Many of the pieces are available for purchase. The exhibit was judged by Jerry Zelinskas, a graduate of the Cooper School of Art in Cleveland, member of the National Watercolor Society and Ohio Watercolor Society and instructor, with many pieces in corporate and private collections throughout the U.S.  Awards were announced to 270 attendees at the opening reception on Thursday, May 21:

Now in its twelfth year, with a current membership of 60 artists and craftsmen from Stark and surrounding counties, CAL is an affiliate of the Canton Museum of Art, and a forum for members to meet and further their creativity through a wide variety of community exhibition venues and workshops. The CAL mission is to provide enriched opportunities and encouragement for professional, semi-professional, and amateur artists and individuals with a sincere interest in supporting art.
